Accessories
B&L offer a wide range of accessories to further enhance our fencing installations. These can be incorporated into your initial purchase, or added at a later date. Alternatively we can retrofit items to your existing fencing installation.
Noise Reduction Neoprene Strips
With the increased demand for sports pitches in urban locations, noise impact is increasingly becoming a design consideration as part of the planning application process.
We are proud to announce our exclusive neoprene noise reducing strips that will cut ball impact noise levels on our sports fencing by up to a third.
We have worked closely with an independant acoustic survey company, undertaking a series of on site tests to develop our noise reducing strips. These have been designed to be installed between the fence posts and panels during construction, or alternatively can be retrofitted to an existing fence - subject to original design.
Pitch Divider
To divide a pitch into multiple playing areas, we offer a B&L Pitch Divider system. Posts can be installed outside of the perimeter fence so no playing area is lost and comprises of 40x40mm aperture netting installed onto high tension PVC coated strand wire to prevent sagging. The netting is finished with either weighted lead lining or bottom cables to stop the net from billowing in the wind.
Goal Units
To prevent losing any playing area to freestanding goals, we can install our recessed goal units which sit flush with the perimeter fence. Using a lintel panel to form a crossbar, we can create a range of goal mouth sizes and install basketball hoops above to increase the usage applications of your MUGA.
Basketball Posts
As well as installing basketball posts into our goal units, we can also install our basketball posts integrally into the fence. Replacing an intermediate post with a basketball post means you do not have to lose any playing area to freestanding posts.
Kickboards
To prevent damage to your fence from the high velocity impact of hockey balls, we can install timber kickboards at ground level. All timber kickboards are made using weather resistant, pressure treated softwood timber to ensure long lasting protection.
Kickboards range from 200-300m high and 38-50mm thick and can be either sawn square or have a chamfered edge for increased safety.
Trekboards
Eco-friendly and adaptable to various sports, Trekboards caters to both current needs and future sustainability. A strong infill mitigation alternative to Kickboards. Available in black or Green.
Trekboards are in available 250mm high, made from a recycled composite plastic materials, install onto special-made Trekboards brackets for improved safety during play
Tennis Practice Wall
Our tennis practice walls made using close aperture “358” mesh allow a player to practice their serve solo, without taking up a full court. Clad to the front of the mesh, we install coloured bars to demarcate the net and the out of bounds. These can be installed anywhere in the fence line.
Bolt on Cricket Wicket
Our innovative bolt-on cricket wickets are seamlessly integrated into your sports fence. Clad to front of the mesh, demarcating a wicket for cricket play. Multiple colours available upon request.
