A popular choice owing to its suitability to a wide range of sports fencing applications, roll form welded mesh is both cost effective and highly adaptable to suit any requirements of a pitch, MUGA or court.
The versatile nature of welded mesh allows for many of its features to be altered; available in a variety of apertures and gauge thicknesses, the height of an individual roll of welded mesh can be increased from 1.00m high spectator rail up to 6.00m by combining rolls. The finish of welded mesh can either be galvanised or PVC coated in either green or black. This coating helps protect against corrosion, providing the fencing with a long-lasting quality.
Welded mesh also offers the advantage of having a malleable form; as such, it can be easily manipulated and installed around complex site perimeters.
Regardless, the welded construction of the mesh at every horizontal and vertical section forms a strong barrier whilst still maintaining its flexibility.
It is this flexibility that sets roll form welded mesh apart from other fencing designs. This style of fencing is highly recommended for hockey pitches, as the pliable nature of the mesh allows for the ball to bounce back. Furthermore, additional items can also be used in conjunction with welded mesh to increase its functionality, such as timber kickboards, rebound panels and sports netting.
Should increased durability be required, we can offer a high density “358” welded mesh panel to the lower 1.20m of the fence. This can increase the longevity of the fence and offers easy maintenance as the panels can be removed and replaced. This application is ideal for high usage pitches, especially when the predominant sport is hockey.
